Travaal Client Reservation Terms and Conditions

 

Information About Us We are Travaal, part of the Solomon Beck Group (company number: 12671345), whose registered office is at Building A4 – Suite Go34, Cody Technology Park, Old Ively Road, Farnborough, England, GU14 0LX (“us”, “we”, “our”). Our main website is available at https://www.travaal.com (“Website”).

Reservation Terms These General Client Reservation Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you (“you”, “your”) make reservations (“Reservations”) for serviced apartments (“Apartment(s)”) provided by our apartment partners (“Apartment Providers”).

Website Reservation Requests You may:

  • Search for Apartments
  • View guideline charges
  • Complete an enquiry via:
    • Online form
    • Live chat
    • Enquiry process

Upon receiving your enquiry, we will confirm availability and charges, including cancellation policy. If you proceed, payment can be made via secure payment link or bank transfer. Reservations are subject to:

  • Apartment Provider confirmation
  • Payment completion

Live Reservations Where live booking is enabled:

  • Complete a reservation on our website
  • Pay securely
  • Receive confirmation

General Reservations You can also enquire via:

We will respond with Apartment Suggestions. Once you confirm by email and payment is made, your booking is confirmed.

Reservation Confirmation includes:

  • Apartment address
  • Dates of stay
  • Charges
  • Check-in/out times
  • Cancellation policy
  • Apartment contact details

Credit Account Clients Where credit accounts are in place, confirmation occurs upon email with Reservation Confirmation.

Additional Terms Reservations are subject to availability. If an apartment becomes unavailable, we’ll offer alternatives or a refund.

Roles in Reservation We may act as:

  • Principal: direct contract with you
  • Agent: acting on behalf of Apartment Provider
  • Combination: contract with both parties (you and the provider)

Sales Tax We will notify you of any taxes applicable. VAT in the UK, for example, applies at 20% for first 28 nights, then 4%.

Deposits Security Deposits may be required. Methods may include card pre-authorisation or cash.

Payments

  • Payment via corporate credit card or bank transfer only
  • 2.95% fee for corporate card payments (non-refundable)

Currency Payment is made in the currency agreed during the reservation process.

Apartment Information We work with trusted Apartment Providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by them but assist in resolving issues where possible.

Client Responsibilities You agree to provide accurate, complete information and update us with any changes.

Data Protection Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. If you provide information about others, you confirm you have their consent.

Apartment Provider Policies You must follow both our Terms and the Apartment Provider’s General Policies, which may include ID requirements at check-in.

Third Party Bookings If booking on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring their compliance with these Terms.

Cancellations (by you) Refer to cancellation terms in your confirmation or Apartment Provider policies. Contact us to request changes.

Cancellations (by us or provider) If the apartment becomes unavailable, we will offer alternatives or a refund. Immediate termination may apply for non-payment or policy breach.

Special Requests Requests are passed to Apartment Providers, but not guaranteed.

Pets Pets require prior written approval. Additional fees and deposits may apply.

Health and Safety We will share safety policies from providers but are not responsible for the apartment’s condition or health and safety standards.

Insurance We recommend personal travel insurance.

Currency Tool Any currency conversion tools are indicative only.

Liability Our liability is limited to Reservation errors directly caused by us. We are not responsible for Apartment Provider actions. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the Reservation.

Indemnity You agree to compensate us for any losses due to your or your guest’s breach of these Terms or Apartment Provider’s policies.

Force Majeure We are not liable for events beyond our control.

Other Legal Terms

  • Terms cannot be transferred by you.
  • Changes to Terms do not affect existing bookings.
  • English law applies; English courts have jurisdiction.
  • Invalid clauses do not affect the rest of the Terms.
  • Only Travaal and you may enforce these Terms.
